So, What’s Good About Having ADHD?

People who have ADHD have certain qualities that “normal” people do not. Given their inability to focus on a task, they might be more creative and find it easier to “think outside the box”. Their hyperactivity can account for high amounts of energy and enthusiasm (Brown, no date), which might make them good at playing sports. At the same time, people with ADHD could be outgoing and friendly, even if they sometime miss social cues that might help them understand a social situation and respond appropriately (truthandgrace, no date).
