This and that
Star Wars: I saw the movie a week ago, on Sunday. Went by myself 'cause everyone was busy. I was kind'a disappointing. I really wanted to see Anakin spiraling down into evil, slowly turning to the dark side, but... all I got was a "Turn to the dark side!" Palpatine said. "But the Jedi... my principles...! Anakin replied. "Oh, c'mon, please," Palpatine whispered. "Fine," Anakin finally said. Nice special effects, as usual. But what a lousy script we got in that movie, what a lousy script, what a lousy storyline.
School's out: Yeah, school's out. It's kind'a boring to not have classes. And looking for work is not most fun occupation I've had. It's actually one of the most boring. I've sent a couple resume + cover letter combos, one to EDC, the other to Laureate Universities. Even though I'm looking for a job in Boston, none of those is here. I might not be looking well, I don't know. It's still boring to not have school. I was used to having homework and knowing I was always behind with some work. As to the mixed feelings I'd mentioned before... they're still mixed, but I'm kind'a sad it's over. It was good times, but it went by so quickly! I wish it were longer, though paying for another year... that I prolly wouldn't have been able to do!
Birthday party: Yesterday I went to Deb's girl seven-year-old birthday. It was fun to talk to people outside of school for a while, and to get out of Cambridge. Had a few beers, talked to new people, and then had dinner with Melanie and played with Willem for a while. Thanks for the steak!
Dinner: Went out to dinner tonight to the North End with some of the dorm folk tonight. It was a lot of fun, great food, great company. Most likely the last outing together, though many will be in Boston next year, maybe including me... who knows. We missed those who weren't there, stranded in Vegas or Canadia, or on the way to Norway, but it was lots of fun anyway. I'd been craving for good pasta for a while now, and what better place than the North End for that?

"what a lousy script we got in that movie" Te invito a que te repitas TODAS las otras y me señales en cuál el señor Lucas brilla por sus fabulosos diálogos. Entonces cuál es la mejor?

Mis más sinceras felicitaciones por el grado. Nos llena de orgullo y felicidad a todos (y todas, Alicja por ejemplo a pesar de su no muy desarrollada conciencia).
